Bullying affects us all regardless of age, gender or race. Here are a few of the stats that I found out while doing some research.

Here are a few stories and experiences from courageous people who have shared their story with me. If you have a story of your own, I encourage you to share it and email it to me at All submissions will be reviewed by the Stronger Campaign management team before being added to the website. Aaron - Age 6
I like school. I just don't like the people at school. I don't want to go anymore. The big kids say things and push me down. I wish the teacher would do something but they don't and if I cry they tell me to stop and the bullies only get worse. I hate school.

Anonymous - Age 17
The bullying got so bad for me in my old high school that I attempted to commit suicide. I can't even describe how alone I felt. No one would listen. No one would help. After my parents found me, and I finally told them how I felt, I got the help I needed. All we did is talk but it was so good to be able to tell someone and have them understand. Today, I'm at a new school and have friends and know now how to stand up for myself. I am worth something.

Maria - Age 7
My name is Maria. I am 7 years old. I have been bullied for 3 years. He pushes me on the ground, he laughs at me and says mean things. It hurts my feelings and sometimes makes me cry. I hope it stops soon. I don't like being scared to play outside.
